How are prayer times calculated?
Muslim SuperApp supports 12 prayer calculation methods including ISNA, Muslim World League (MWL), Diyanet (Turkey), Egyptian General Authority, University of Islamic Sciences Karachi, and more. You can choose your preferred method in Settings. Calculation happens entirely on your device using your location — no internet connection is required.
How does the halal food checker work?
You can scan product ingredient labels using your camera (OCR) or search additives manually. The app checks against a database of 296+ food additives and displays color-coded results: green for halal, red for haram, and yellow for mashbooh (doubtful). Use this as a reference tool — always confirm with certified halal authorities for critical decisions.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Muslim SuperApp is designed to work fully offline. Prayer times, Qibla direction, Quran content, ezkar, zikir, habit tracking, and the food additive database are all stored on your device. An internet connection is only needed for the initial app download and optional PostHog analytics (which you can disable).
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone: Go to Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Muslim SuperApp → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Muslim SuperApp → Cancel. You will retain premium access until the end of your current billing period.
Is my data private?
Yes. All your data — habits, zikir counts, preferences, personal ezkar — is stored locally on your device. No account is required. The only identifier we use is an anonymous UUID stored in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, EncryptedSharedPreferences on Android). We do not sell data to anyone. How do I report incorrect information?
If you find an error in prayer times, food additive classification, Quranic text, or any other content, please email us at ortak@lumiostudio.co with as much detail as possible. We take accuracy seriously and will review and correct issues promptly.
