1. Introduction

Welcome to Muslim SuperApp ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Lumio Studio. Muslim SuperApp is a privacy-focused Islamic lifestyle app designed to support your daily worship and spiritual growth. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

We built Muslim SuperApp with an offline-first, privacy-first philosophy: your personal data stays on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not sell your data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Anonymous Device ID

The app generates a random anonymous UUID the first time you launch it. This ID is stored securely in the iOS Keychain or Android EncryptedSharedPreferences and survives reinstalls. It is not linked to your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information. It is used solely to distinguish devices for aggregate analytics purposes.

2.2 Location Data (Optional)

Location access is optional and only requested for two features: accurate prayer time calculation and Qibla direction. Location data is processed entirely on-device using mathematical models — it is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings without affecting other app features.

2.3 App Preferences

Your settings — including notification preferences, prayer calculation method, and display options — are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any server.

2.4 Personal Content

Any content you create or track within the app — including personal ezkar, habit records, zikir counts, and custom entries — is stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device.

2.5 What We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• No account or sign-in is required or available
• No cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers
• No biometric data
• No contacts, messages, or photos

3. Analytics

We use PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to collect anonymized usage data (e.g., which features are used, crash reports). All data sent to PostHog is tied only to your anonymous device ID — never to a personal identity. You can opt out of analytics at any time in the app's Settings screen.

4. Subscription Services

Premium subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play). We do not collect, store, or process your payment information. Subscription status is verified through the respective platform's receipt validation system.

5. Data Storage & Security

Muslim SuperApp is designed to function entirely offline. All user data is stored locally on your device. Sensitive data such as your anonymous device ID is stored in the iOS Keychain or Android EncryptedSharedPreferences, which are protected by your device's security (passcode, biometrics). We do not operate servers that hold your personal data.

6. Children's Privacy

Muslim SuperApp is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because we do not collect any personal information, there is no risk of children's personal data being stored or shared. No account creation is required. The app contains no advertising or in-app purchases directed at children.

7. Your Rights & Controls

• Delete all data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
• Deny location: You can deny or revoke location permission in device Settings at any time.
• Opt out of analytics: Disable anonymized analytics in the app's Settings screen.

Because we do not hold personal data on our servers, there is no account deletion process — deleting the app is sufficient.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through an in-app notification or an App Store update notice.
